About the Author
Kate Gawi is an accredited interior designer who, alongside her husband operates Architeria Architects in Melbourne, Australia. Kate has designed the interior for some of the most opulent and luxurious homes in Australia. She has studied art history and interior design and there is nothing dearer to her than creating beautiful homes and an equivalent lifestyle.
When Kate is not designing, decorating, or entertaining she will be found in her tea house, sipping on an Earl Grey while reading historical novels. Kate’s family has rarely witnessed a birthday without the pomp and circumstance, many times with themes resembling a bygone era.
Her European upbringing made her appreciate art and architecture and as a natural storyteller and a self-proclaimed lifestyle connoisseur, Kate’s first book had to be about creating beautiful environments and how to do it in style.
